Planning Perfect follows Felicity, a Jewish high school girl who is trying to plan her mother’s wedding in an apple orchard owned by her long-distance BFF’s family. Felicity wants it to be, as you might expect from the title, perfect—she’s used to tightly managing her life and anxiety and trying to create the exact outcome she wants. But as she realizes her feelings for said BFF might be different than friendship, she also struggles with what a relationship could look like for her as someone on the asexual spectrum.
