Rainbow Readers: A Queer YA Book Club
August read: Hell Followed With Us by Andrew Joseph White. 16-year-old trans boy Benji is on the run from the cult that raised him and infected him with a powerful bioweapon. He finds solace in an LGBTQ+ center with a charismatic, gorgeous teen leader, but the longer he is involved with the center, the more he realizes it might not be the safe refuge he thought.
