Have you ever been outside for a long time on a cloudy or overcast day and gotten a sunburn? This can happen! It is not the sunlight we can see that gives us a sunburn. It is the energy from the sun we cannot see that can harm us. One type of energy that the sun gives off is ultraviolet rays.
