Teen STEAM: Alebrije Folk Art Sculptures
Ever seen brightly colored Mexican folk art sculptures of fantastical creatures and animals? Join us in September during Hispanic Heritage Month to learn about the history behind Alebrije folk art. Then use your creativity to make your own animal sculpture.
Teen STEAM allows teens to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics by working on hands-on projects that help them to develop critical thinking skills, hone their creativity, practice working independently and collaboratively as well as practice problem-solving through engaging projects.
