Gellman Room Concerts: Sweet Potatoes
“Sweet Potatoes Live at the Gellman Room” presented by the Richmond-based jazz band, Sweet Potatoes, with members Johnny Hargrove (guitar), Reyna Pannell (vocals), Stephon Larue (drums), and Brian Cruise (bass).
Since 1973, the Gellman Room Concerts have been free and open to the public. The concerts were initiated by Myra Knight, Senior Librarian of the Art and Music Department at RPL, “to give Richmond area instrumentalists and vocalists a place to perform and entertain countless music lovers.”
