 will be on display from Friday\, February 1\, 2019\, through Tuesday 
 February 26\, 2019:\n\nGellman Room—“Embrace"—paintings by Terrie 
 Powers. By combining representational imagery with abstract\, these large 
 pieces on wood panel reveal the mythology behind the natural 
 world.\n\nDooley Foyer & Dooley Hall—“Representation Matters”—an 
 exhibit reflecting the importance of racial\, historical and creative 
 freedom in the fiber arts genre symbolized in quilting by members of the 
 Kuumba Aftrican-American Quilter’s Guild of Richmond\, Virginia\n\n2nd 
 Floor Gallery—“How Art has Soothed My Soul”—digital prints and 
 acrylic paintings by Richmond artist Miss Lo\n\nThe library’s permanent 
 collections include works by David Freed\, Helen & Alvin Hattorf\, and Anne
