 Richmond event! In his latest book\, Nguyen explores hard-hitting topics of 
 immigration\, citizenship\, and trauma while balancing it with the humor of 
 a sharp satire. Participants will be sure to have a lively discussion as we 
 consider the incidents and larger themes presented in the novel\, 
 especially since the storyline often feels uncomfortably close to current 
 events. Though it’s definitely not required for the book club\, if 
 you’re planning to attend the Read Up Richmond event in November\, please
