DESCRIPTION:Need to learn the basics? This computer class is designed for 
 individuals of all skill levels\, from complete beginners to those looking 
 to improve their proficiency. The class focuses on mastering the basics of 
 using a computer\, which includes using the mouse and keyboard.   \n\nIn 
 this class\, participants will choose from these three essentials to learn 
 and practice: \n\n\n	\n	Mouse \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Keyboard Shortcuts 
 \n	\n\n\n\n	\n	Typing \n	\n\n\nQuick to advance? Need more personalized 
 assistance? Each class will further evolve into developing our digital 
 skills\, which can include computer management (settings\, file systems)\, 
 learning computer terminology\, or exploring the internet!\n\nYour Digital 
 Jumpstart will help each participant progress at their own pace\, ensuring 
 that learners of all backgrounds can feel confident and empowered in their 
 digital interactions.\n \n\nBring a friend\, a helper\, and your computer 
 questions! Whether you're just starting out or looking to refine your 
 skills\, this class provides a welcoming environment for everyone!\n\n 
 \n\nLaptops with Windows 10 OS will be provided.   Please feel free to 
 bring your own laptop.\n\n\n\nIn order for the instructor to coordinate 
 with varying computer skills and abilities\, there is a limited class size 
 of 8 seats available. \n\nOnline registration is required – please call 
 the Ginter Park Library at 804-646-1236 or visit us in-person. Registration 
 is on a first come\, first served basis with no waiting list. Contact us to 
 check for available space or for other questions and accommodations.   
 \n\n\nNote:  This is an educational class about basic computer skills that 
 include learning basic hardware and software. The instructor will not be 
 troubleshooting or repairing any devices.\n\n \n
