RPL Local Authors: Joyce A. Miller

RPL Local Authors: Joyce A. Miller

Joyce A. Miller adopted six racing greyhounds over the past twenty years and danced with several of them. Miller lives in the Church Hill section of Richmond, Virginia with her husband and her latest retired racing greyhound. Before she started writing, Miller worked for over 30 years as a mechanical designer at a nuclear physics laboratory. When she is not writing, Miller can be found dog-training, drinking wine, painting, practicing yoga, traveling with her French physicist friends, tap dancing, or volunteering with her greyhound adoption group, not necessarily in that order.

Richmond Public Library is committed to supporting local writers and readers. Local authors are invited to set up a table in the lobby of the Main Library to sign and sell copies of their books in a low-key and casual setting. The lobby space is offered free of charge to local authors. Click here for more information.
