Gellman Room Concert: Megan Slay

“Romancing the Piano: An Afternoon of Franz Schubert and Sergei Rachmaninov”-- Schubert’s “Piano Sonata No. 16 in A minor D 845” and Rachmaninov’s “Moments Musicaux, Op. 16” presented by pianist Megan Slay

Megan Slay graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2019 where she studied with Ruta Smedina-Starke. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance degree from George Mason University where she is pursuing a Doctorate in Musical Arts as a Dr. Linda A. Monson Scholar.   In January 2023, she was selected as a first prize winner in the 2022 Charleston International Music Competition.
