Gellman Room Concert: RVA Baroque
RVA Baroque: “Hail, Bright Cecilia!” Baroque composers honored Cecilia, patron saint of music, with some of their most joyful music. Richmond’s period instrument ensemble taps into this rich repertoire with a program of vocal and instrumental music by Henry Purcell (1659-1695) and lesser-known masters.
