Protecting Our Water Systems

Protecting Our Water Systems

***This is an off-site event that takes place at Pony Pasture***

The James River Association brings you a teen workshop that blends science with environmental activism.  You’ll investigate the water quality of the James through experiments about its turbidity, dissolved oxygen content, and more. You’ll also learn how to interpret your results in analyzing the health of the river. Activities will focus on caring for our watershed and local community as well as sharing volunteer opportunities for teens with a passion for environmental issues. Come to learn, have fun, and make a difference!

We will meet at Pony Pasture promptly at 10AM.  Please wear comfortable shoes and bring a water bottle and sunscreen.
