The Reality of Game Development

Game design critic Josh Bycer will introduce you to what it means to make video games professionally.  Many teens have had these dreams, but there are just as many challenges and decisions that need to be worked out.  Josh’s presentation will focus on what it means to get hired at a studio versus starting your own company, important skills to develop, and the downsides and difficulties of being in the game industry.  This workshop will get you thinking about the pros and cons of making games for a living.
