CANCELLED! Learn How To Be A Beekeeper

Class participants will learn various methods to help protect local pollinators-butterflies, bumblebees, honey bees, and other beneficial insects.  During the class we will discuss the importance of honeybees in the natural environment to the food suply of humans, learn the importance of local honey in helping to maintain good health and how local raw, unfiltered honey actually helps to relieve many seasonal allergies and is helpful in addressing other health concerns.  There will be detailed instructions about becoming a beekeeper, covering the costs, equipment needed and skills required to become successful beekeepers.  At the end of the class interested persons will be able to quickly begin their beekeeping endeavors.
