February 2020 Art Exhibit
The following exhibit will be on display from Friday, February 7, 2020 through Tuesday, March 3, 2020:
GELLMAN ROOM - Winging It - a photographer's view of birds expressing themselves with their wings by Richmond artist Michele Garrigan
DOOLEY FOYER - Studies in Grey - art works in a gamut of shades and mediums, such as acrylic, latex, and pencil, variously displayed with mirrors and in unusual fashions as well as traditional methods by Richmond artist Mark N. Dumas
DOOLEY HALL - Naturescapes - a series of vivid landscapes and global monuments inspired by natural photography and world exploration by Richmond artist Kat Tracy
2ND FLOOR GALLERY - Places I have seen - a collection of paintings by free-lance artist and actor, Petersburg native Christopher C. Alexander IV
The library's permanent collections include works by Helen & Alvin Hattorf and Anne Newbold Perkins.
First Friday @ Main
First Friday, a monthly opening-night reception for all the artists of the library's galleries, will be held on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 6:30 - 9:00 pm.
