Classics You Forgot to Read
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Their Eyes Were Watching God, Love in the Time of Cholera. Modern classics we all know and love - but maybe forgot to actually read along the way. Join us in 2019 for this new book club, Classics You Forgot To Read! We will be starting in January with A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, and will choose a new book every other month. The East End Branch manager, Adam Zimmerli, will be facilitating discussion, and there will even be snacks! We will meet on March 21 at 6pm, and anyone interested in finally knowing what these important books are ACTUALLY about is encouraged to join us. Call (804) 646-4474 if you have any questions, and we will see you there!
