Interested in joining the Friends of the Richmond Public Library? The Annual Meeting to elect new FRPL Board Members will take place at the Main Library this Sunday, September 23, 2:30 to 5:00 p.m.

Guest author Howard Owen is the featured speaker. He'll discuss "The Mysteries of Richmond," featuring his most recent book, Annie's Bones, and his next Willie Black mystery, Scuffletown, scheduled for release January 2019. Like the other Willie books, it takes its title from a real Richmond setting, in this case Scuffletown Park in the Fan.

As the 60th Anniversary of the founding of the Friends of RPL approaches, the annual meeting is an opportunity to learn about the organization and its initiatives, and to get involved!
