Local Author @ Your Library: Dr Gail B. Newton
Dr. Gail B. Newton, a tireless educator and author of both a children's book and her recent autobiography, will be joining the library for a reading.
Her children's book Will in the Wood highlights the importance of literacy and the imagination, how "reading can unlock the door to the world." And her autobiography Born Crying weaves her life's story through a series of reflections on friendship, the early years before T.V. and the Vaudeville scene of the 1940s.
