Movie Matinees: "Misbehaviour" (2000)
Enjoy a movie with us that you may have missed at the theater! This week's film is Misbehaviour.
Based on true events, this film shows how English feminist activists from the Women's Liberation Movement, led by Sally Alexander, disrupt the popular Miss World beauty pageant being held in London in 1970, when Miss Grenada candidate Jennifer Hosten becomes the first Black woman to win the title. American legend Bob Hope hosts the event, and becomes the subject of protest by the group because of his sexist-tinged comedy act.
