Book Discussion: Mỹ Documents by Kevin Nguyen (Read Up Richmond)

Join us at our Hull Street or East End locations to discuss the book Mỹ Documents by Kevin Nguyen before he comes to talk at our annual Read Up Richmond event! In his latest book, Nguyen explores hard-hitting topics of immigration, citizenship, and trauma while balancing it with the humor of a sharp satire. Participants will be sure to have a lively discussion as we consider the incidents and larger themes presented in the novel, especially since the storyline often feels uncomfortably close to current events. Though it’s definitely not required for the book club, if you’re planning to attend the Read Up Richmond event in November, please consider joining us to add even more depth to your experience. We look forward to discussing this powerful novel with you!
