Expungement Clinic
LAJC, Justice Forward, Nolef Turns, and the University of Richmond Law will be hosting an Expungement Clinic at Main Library.
Criminal records can prevent you from attaining housing, employment, and educational opportunities. Come to the clinic to get eligible charges off your record to ease these obstacles. Pro bono attorneys and law students will be on hand to assist clients with filings and court procedures to remove criminal charges from your criminal record.
- Eligible charges must be non-convictions, dismissals, acquitals, or nolle prosses. (No convictions)
- Eligible charges must be from Richmond courts.
- Participants will have help to determine if they qualify for a waiver of court filing fees.
- If you do not qualify for a waiver, fees may be covered on a first-come, first-served basis.
