Join us at Main Library for a special edition of Sunday storytime as we celebrate Children's Authors and Illustrators Week with local author, Christina Shawn. Shawn's book, Lucas Plays, follows Lucas as he plays his violin and uses his imagination to create a world filed with quirky aliens and snoring monster. Christina will lead us on a magical musical adventure together! We will make connections between music, books, and our lives. We will explore our imagination while listening to different types of music. We will read Lucas Plays and learn about the violin. Together we will generate ideas that we can play with. Maybe some of them will turn into stories of your own!
