Mending Mondays is a bi-weekly mending/upcycling program at West End Branch Library. Drop-in on the second and fourth Monday of each month to have assistance with basic mending.  Need a button replaced? Have a small tear in a shirt?  How about that hem? You may also stop by to work on your own project in a communal setting. No sign up is required. 

Please bring any or all of the following:

• Clothing you’d like to mend
• Clothing, scrap cloth, or materials to repurpose
• Additional materials such as heat transfer vinyl or infusible ink, specialty threads, etc.

What we provide:

• Basic hand-sewing supplies (pins, needles, thread)
• One sewing machine
• A random assortment of scrap fabric and sewing notions
• Books and resources for visible mending, upcycling, and basic clothing repair
• Iron
