Chair Yoga
Start the year on a healthy note! Chair Yoga is for individuals who have physical limitations the prevent them going onto the floor or stand for extended periods. Chair Yoga offers a safe space to slow down and develop deeper awareness through gentle seated postures, breathing, and deep relaxation. Individuals that is new to yoga, in wheelchairs, canes, or walkers are welcome at this seated practice.
About the Instructor: Cynthia Schmitz, has practiced yoga for twenty years, is an accredited RYT-200 instructor and certificates in Accessible Yoga and Opening Yoga.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement. Bring a yoga mat if you have one. Pre-registration for this class is required. Space is limited.
