Expungement Law in Virginia
Richmond Public Law Library presents an informational workshop on expungement and sealing of criminal records in Virginia. Learn about updates to the law that took effect July 1 of 2023, and updates that will come in 2025. Find out information on who qualifies now for expungement and who will benefit from the changes in the law. Experts will cover the necessary steps for expungement and connect patrons to resources to help maneuver the court process. Open to all. Service providers and those working with impacted communities are encouraged to attend.
