Join podcast host and former journalist Pamela Nichols at an interactive reading of Book 5 of her Inside Out inspirational fiction series. Discover life lessons from complex characters with challenging issues that require more than church as usual.
INSIDE OUT BOOK READING & DISCUSSION
Being good can be hard. In fact, podcast host and former journalist Pamela Nichols delves into the mysteries of complex characters struggling with life’s problems in her Inside Out series. She will join us at Hull Street Library to discuss the life lessons from her series. The first three titles in the Inside Out series are More Grace; Necessary Food; Always Never; and Hidden Mercy. The author will also read from the newly released Book 5 of the Inside Out collection. A book signing will follow the reading. Books will be available for purchase.
Light refreshments will be provided. Space is limited, so please register early.

She also enjoys writing inspirational fiction. Her 'Inside Out' series features characters with issues that require more than 'church as usual'. Her stories combat spiritual falsehoods and point readers to the power and grace of truth.
Pamela hosts the Healing Words podcast, where she interviews authors versed in the language of healing and growth. A former journalist with the Virginian-Pilot, she supports writers with editing and consulting services needed to present their calling with confidence. Meldon Jenkins-Jones is the Richmond Public Library / Community Services Manager at Hull Street Branch Library.
Meldon also chairs the Get Lit Advisory Committee which supports the Richmond Public Library Get Lit Reading Initiatives including the Black Male Emergent Readers (BMER) program and the Lit Chicks Read book clubs.
Meldon is a graduate of the Leadership Metro Richmond Class of 2022. She was the first recipient of the Virginia Library Association (VLA) Librarians of Color Forum Award in 2021 and is an active member of VLA. She presented “Libraries Bringing Community Together” at the 2023 VLA Annual Conference.
In 2011, Meldon received her Master of Library and Information Studies from Florida State University. She received her Juris Doctor degree from Rutgers University School of Law—Newark and practiced law in New Jersey until her retirement in 2003. Meldon received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she studied African American Studies and Russian Civilization.
A Metro Richmond resident, Meldon is the mother of two adult children and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
