Winter Horrorland Film Festival

Winter Horrorland Film Festival

Victims and Villains brings their signature film festival, Horrific Hope, to the Richmond Public Library for a one day special event. Winter Horrorland is a day of screenings, panels, discussions, socializing and outreach. You'll see films from all over the world you won’t be able to see anywhere else and connect with mental health service providers and like-minded horror fans. Click here for a list of films! We will be joined by Eduardo Sanchez, Co-Director of The Blair Witch Project, for a screening celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the film's release!

Victims and Villains is a multimedia non-profit dedicated to deconstructing the stigma surrounding mental health through the familiarity of pop culture. Depression can make us feel like both a victim and villain. We exist to remind you that you're not alone. Victims and Villains is based out of Richmond, VA. Whether it's comic cons, local community events or the podcasts and movie reviews we release weekly - our goal is to educate and engage individuals on mental health awareness. Our hope is to one day eradicate the stigmas surrounding such topics.
