“War and Community” Exhibit Opening
The opening of an exhibit based on Elwood Street’s “War and Community” radio series. “War and Community” is a set of over 50 radio episodes that were written by social worker and journalist Elwood Street during World War II. Each episode of the series focused on a different local organization, issue, or individual at the time, offering a glimpse into 1940s Richmond.
