Welcome back Richmond Master Gardeners!  Weekly visits from local Master Gardeners are right on time for spring planting. These volunteers will be at the West End Branch Library to answer your gardening questions between 4pm and 6pm each Wednesday in April and May.  Can't make it to the library on Wednesday?  A question box is available with notepaper for you to describe your gardening concerns.  Fill one out during library hours any day and a Master Gardener will contact you with information and suggestions.

While you're at the library, check out our new Seed Library!  Do you have extras from your spring planting?  Is there a vegetable you would like to grow and don't have seeds?  Check out our packs of herb and vegetable seeds.  Take a pack and/or add to the library with your extra seeds.  This seed library was made possible by a generous donation of seeds through a local Master Gardener.

Soil test kits are also available at the West End Branch Library, provided by the Virginia Cooperative Extension service.

Now, just get planting!
