Adulting 101: Mending Clothes and Basic Sewing

Adulting 101: Mending Clothes and Basic Sewing

For the final session of Adulting 101, Nico will be sharing tips and advice from a local professional on a topic that might not be covered in high school. This program is for teens. If you've outgrown your teenage years or just aren't able to make it to the program, there will be a recap on Wednesdays on our RPL blog, Shelf Respect.

This week's guest will be Marquetta Fisher, a Richmond-based artist and designer with 30+ years of experience with sewing, crocheting, and fashion design. She was educated at NY Fashion Institute of Technology in Fashion Design and Shaw University in Interior Design.
